Newly published iBook “Practical Guide to Critical Ultrasound” now available on iTunes

Edited and authored by POCUS leaders, The Practical Guide to Critical Ultrasound iBook in 2 volumes is a free resource for point-of-care users caring for patients in emergency and critical care environments. This interactive image and narrated video focused book is designed to be a quick reference and a just-in-time learning tool.

2019 SPOCUS Award Winners Announced!

We recently presented our annual distinguished member awards. Nominations were abundant, and competition was fierce, but we proudly honored two women whose accomplishments embody the values and further the mission of our Society.

New SUIS Programs

PA Student Sammy-Jo Wright led the creation of our newest Student Ultrasound Interest Section at Yale School of Medicine’s PA Program. Miranda Paradis and Sarah Campbell provided mentorship of the program. Get together with your classmates, form a free SUIS program and SPOCUS will match your group with a local mentor who will teach you how to multiply your clinical capabilities by employing bedside ultrasound.
